Impacts of Job Standardisation on Restaurant Frontline Employees: Mediating Effect of Emotional Labour

چکیده

Managers of food service operations standardise various aspects to sustain consistent quality. Frontline employees in these are expected carry out tasks as per standards. Standards demand that frontline regulate their behaviours and emotions complete duties. Therefore, referring the organisational role theory emotion regulation directing basis, this study examined impact job standardisation on emotional labour, well effect labour exhaustion satisfaction hospitality sector. This also mediating relation between standardisation, one hand, other hand. The data collection was carried Lebanon. Structural equation modelling (SEM) used assess relations. results showed negatively affected had a positive negative satisfaction. Furthermore, mediated Practical theoretical implications directions for future research provided.
